(Misc.) I really wanted to like this beautiful looking bike but after test driving it for 20 minutes it became obvious there were several unexpected problems. Here is a list of them: 1) The seat is locked in at a very high position because the battery is in the way. If you are 5'7" or shorter, this bike cannot be lowered to your height. If you install a suspension seat, the seat will end up been too high for practically everyone. 2) The gears do not shift as smoothly as they should. It could be that this bike needed adjustment, I don't know for sure. 3) The short handle bars seem to make the bike harder to steer and somewhat unstable. 4) This bike uses an electronic throttle, it does not have "pedal assist" mode. As far as I know, none of the Prodeco bikes have "pedal assist" 5) I could be wrong but the battery does not work unless the key remains inserted, you cannot take the key out and operate the bike.
